Poling Furgefield Conservation Project
Where? Angmering
When? 16 March 2008
What's it about? Maintenance work on our conservation project, removing thistles, brambles from glade and woodland trail, create more dead hedging. We are also clearing a pond and planting marginal and emergent plants.

Let's Grow
Where? Bognor Regis
When? 9 April 2008
What's it about? The children from this deprived housing estate will be growing their own fruit & vegetables. We have a lot of interest in this project already and so the children will work in teams on a rota system. They will grow crop such as potatoes, tomatoes, carrots, kohl rabi, runner beans, peas & salad crops, as well as strawberries, raspberries, cherries & apples. The children & their families will benefit be receiving the produce as it is harvested

Round & Round the Garden
Where? Burgess Hill
When? Tuesday 6th May
What's it about? An area of wasteland will be cleared of rubbish, litter brambles and unwanted weeds. Seeds and plants will be grown and planted to encourage wildlife. We intend to create a wildlife sanctuary. The cyclic nature of living things, the importance of caring for our environment re - using and recycling materials are major factors in this educational projects.
Where's it happening? Petworth Drive, Burgess Hill
