What's it about? Volunteers will assist local children to clean - up a dysfunctional area and turn it into a flower garden designed by themselves. Older residents will pass down their gardening skills and knowledge to younger people and help combat ageism at the same time. Hopefully we can incorporate fitness and well being into a fun day with a purpose. This will also help people feel a sense of pride in their community.
