Planting of vegetables and crops with students who have behavioural difficulties.Encouraging them to be aware of the benefits of growing their own crops, encourage healthier lifestyles and be part of a positive activity.The volunteers are the students, their teachers and to build links with the Growers society and local gardening groups to increase production in time

Grow Greener Bee Feeder Project

What's it about? Local children will engage in learning how to grow/growing vegetables and flowers in order to both understanding how certain foods grow and to also help local honey bees produce honey during their difficult time.
Where's it happening? Dalton Barracks, Abingdon
What to wear/bring: Sturdy Footwear, Packed Lunch, Wellies and elbow grease
What will be provided: Training, Refreshments, Tools & Materials, An enjoyable project requiring lots of hard work throughout the year.

Living Willow Structure

What's it about? We will replace the willow structure that has been knocked down and vandalised. The new willow structure will have the enhancement of a wood chip floor laid over weed control membrane.
