"Larks on the Loopline" Habitat Improvement

What's it about? Volunteers from the; Merseyside Cycle Campaign, SUSTRANS, Friends of Gateacre will descend on the Loopline, a green path and wildlife corridor. The aim is to give the route a 'spring' clean removing litter & general detritus from the area and do some minor pruning of shrubs overhanging the path. We may possibly do some small painting jobs to remove graffiti leaving the path and surrounding areas.

What's it about? Wild Flower area to be the first attempt to try out what a wild flower area will look like, how easy it is to maintain on a busy town estate. If it’s successful the initiative will be roled out in other open spaces on Helena Partnership estates.
