What's it about? To pick up litter along the stream, footpaths and open spaces, sometimes around the park. I would like younger people to become involved with this project and maybe this may get them involved with our other project, which will maybe help them to the area a bit cleaner

What to wear/bring: Sturdy Footwear, maybe Wellington

The Missing Links

Every Pond Counts

What's it about? Clearance of an abandoned sewage works to bring back various wildlife species (amphibians, small mammals and birds).
The volunteers will clear and mark the area in preparation for a mini-digger to enter the site to create wildlife zones.

Perennial Planting Project

What's it about? We have a clearance day planned and are seeking a grant to back plant the cleared spaces with perennial plants that will add colour to the grounds of our residential home for people with physical disabilities.
