What's it about? We are ready to produce our Eco garden for the school based on children's designs. We need lots of hands on to dig, plant, build etc to complete the project in 2 weeks.

Community Garden

What's it about? To enhance the local area by providing a community garden. The committee are all unpaid volunteers who manage the project and the local youth clubs and 2 schools will be involved in planting shrubbery and flowers etc.

OZSculptures
Where? Newport
When? 11 June 2008
What's it about? Parents and children will work with a local artist to create sculptures from the Wizard of OZ. The sculptures will be made form recycled carrier bags finished with a layer of yellow pages. They will them be treated and painted. Volunteers will help the artist when working with the children and parents. This is a community project and will be located next to the community centre.
