A Blooming Meadow

Welly Walls and Smelly Beds

What's it about? Cretion of planters made from Wellingotn boots planted up with fruit and veg to eat and flowers for beauty. Creation of a raised smelly bed which will have herbs in. Children will study medicinal and culinary properties of these, will make and sell lavender bags and other herbal items and will cook with the herbs.

A view at Riverview

What's it about? Riverview is a great place for disabled people young and old to come for day support. They all really enjoy their time indoors in a big bright room taking part in activities, having a chat and learning new skills. Unfortunately the outdoor space is not so attractive. We rely on volunteers at our day centre and these volunteers have decided they would really like to do something with the outdoor space. The whole area needs some love, attention & a bit of colour adding to it. The volunteers will do the planting and general tidy up aiming to make it is as beautiful outside as it is inside.

The young people will be tidying up the current space, tidying the current plants and putting in new plants that will fill the space and support a quiet space for those in need of space at times of trouble.

Skelton Play Area Makeover
