Sacred Heart Garden for Prayer and Reflection
Where? Luton
When? 6 July 2009
What's it about? We have constructed a small Prayer Garden within our grounds which our pupils are able to visit for periods of quiet relection. The work so far has been done by our pupils with the help of volunteers - usually parents. This normally takes place on a Monday lunchtime and most of the plants, fencing and staues have been donated by our families. We are approaching the school holidays and therefore would like to brighten up the garden with wind chimes, hardy heather and lavender plants, small bushes which will not need a lot of tending. We are short on funds and would very much appreciate even the smallest donation.
